About Peterborough Driveways Block Paving Service

Trust Peterborough Driveways to add character to your home.

There are plenty of block paving companies in Peterborough but very few with the experience and reputation earnt through doing the job for nearly 30 years.

We take the greatest of pride in the work we do with our lead installer "Darren Bennet" being one the most well known and highly respected installers in the Peterborough area. Backed up by the rest of our local driveway building team, he has installed hundreds of drives over the last 28+ years and built up a reputation that is second to none.

The attention to detail with our installations ensures all the work we do not only looks great but has been done to stand the test of time, working to the Moto "Do it once, Do it right."

Our Service Explained

Initial VisitOld Block Paved Driveway

One of our team will visit you to discuss your exact requirements and give you any design advice/ideas. They will usually take some measurements and images of the install area so we can provide you with a free, accurate quotation that we will endeavor to email over to you within 12-48 hours depending on our current workload.

Free Quotation

Free Quotation

Our free quotations include all the information you should require. Measurements are superimposed onto the install pictures we will have taken and included in our quotation along with all prices, product variations and images of samples.

Accepting Our Quotation

Once you accept our quotation we will give you a booking date. This is usually a rough idea as firm dates can seldom be given until closer to install, due to weather conditions and unforeseen issues that can delay as well as bring forward install dates.

At this point is important to remember we take no deposits and expect no payment until you are fully happy with your installation. - Not many companies have the confidence to offer this.

InstallationBlock Paving Being Installed

About a week prior to installation our lead installer will visit with the surveyor to run through everything that has been discussed to make sure all materials and work schedule is correct.

The start of the install will usually be excavation. We dig out to 300mm ready for membrane, 200mm of type 1 hardcore and sand.

Drainage changes or installs are then completed and the blocks laid.

Completion Newly Installed Block Paving

All waste materials are taken away and disposed of responsibly.
Under the Waste Duty of Care regulations all householders now have a legal responsibility to make sure their rubbish (including any construction waste) is passed to authorised carriers only. As part of Peterborough Improvements, we are authorised to take all waste by being registered carriers under the Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989.

Our registration number is - CBDU165660.

Once all waste has been removed and you are completely happy with the completion of your project you will receive an invoice with our payment details.

We will also advise you on the best way to maintain the condition of your drive. Many people think it is best to "Seal" their drive after it has been installed. There are lots of companies out there ready to sell you this service but with a new install this is in fact not a good idea and can actually ruin the look of your lovely new drive.

Our installer will explain all this to make sure you have all the facts before making a decision.
